Taxiway MIKE was taken into operation on the 21 ^st of July 2023. Since operations started on taxiway MIKE multiple taxiway incursions have occurred. During times of night visibility incidents are more frequent.

The taxiway incursions occur at all intersections connected to MIKE, the most common one being when aircraft vacate runway 10 to the wrong taxiway (M instead of E) and when taxiing east from the terminal, turning onto TWY MIKE from TWY NOVEMBER without a clearance onto the taxiway.

Pilots should use caution when taxiing at or around taxiway MIKE, follow ATC instructions, and practice radio discipline with regards to readbacks and confirmation of taxi routes.
